Wildflower Counselling & Psychotherapy

I have been delivering integrative counselling and psychotherapy in the Lichfield area since April 2023 and is now settled in Market Street in the centre of Lichfield. This feels important, as having a home in the centre of the community, a place where mental health can be explored and improved can play a significant role in overcoming the stigma in reaching out for help and can aid in normalizing therapy for all.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Counselling and Psychotherapy Principles and Practices - 1st Class Honours.
  • Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy - PG Certificate
  • Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy - PG Diploma
  • Master of Science in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy - Distinction

A Safe Space for Growth

Being Heard

Throughout your therapeutic journey, it is important that you are heard and your story is told. For this experience to be capitalised on I believe the therapeutic relationship to be of the utmost importance. I practice from a non-judgmental, compassionate perspective as well as offering openness and authenticity. This foundation allows us to explore your world and enables a fresh outlook to be gained, one from which personal growth is made possible.

A Safe Space

As your counsellor, my role is to provide a safe space for you to explore the world as you see it. This is acheived via routine and consistency. From this base a sound therapeutic relationship can be achieved. This enables security to be felt and for personal growth to take place.

Understanding Change

As an intergrative therapist, the process of change is important and can be acheived in several ways. My training with Attachment Theory enriches discussions of your past with new realisation of the patterns of thought and behaviour that are keeping you stuck and re-living the same relationships in the present. Along with CBT and the person-centred approach therapy with me is about you achieving your goals.
